FURUNO VOYAGER BRIDGE

Furuno presents the Voyager Bridge’s new generation, a mega yacht bridge system created by Furuno with the collaboration of the German company Böning.

The long-term collaboration between Furuno and Böning has allowed them to develop and implement an integrated system that combines all the latest Communication and Navigation technologies and AMCS.

The Furuno Voyager Bridge was born from the combination of the great experience of Furuno on navigation and communication equipment and of Böning technology for automation and on-board monitoring and includes the latest generation of Furuno navigation systems wheelmark approved including chart radar (X and S band), ECDIS Paperless, navigation echosounder, GPS and D-GPS, doppler speed log, AIS, BNWAS, autopilot, gyrocompass and various sensors.

The display displays are a full 32” and can show all the features provided. The new MaxSea TZ Professional was also included in the new integrated bridge along with other important safety devices such as the Furuno and WASSP multibeam sonars and FAR SOUNDER anti-collision system.

This new mega yacht bridge system integrates all the Böning automation information. All the main controls are available in the helm panel and in the touch screen panel monitor controllers. The design of the bridge is ergonomic and it has been created to guarantee very easy control to the captain and a safe navigation.

The Furuno Voyager Bridge includes the Universal Control Concept features, allowing the captain to control the navigation devices and the monitoring pages from the same trackball control unit. The Furuno radar and ECDIS control keyboards are also available in the touch screen panels. The communication devices, like VHF radiotelephone, can also be controlled directly from touch screen panels.

FURUNO F-BRIDGE

Furuno Italia presents the new F-Bridge integrated bridge system developed by Furuno Italia in collaboration with the German company Bӧning.

The latest generation of Furuno consoles designed for commercial yachts of more than 300 GT offers the ultimate in integration and design for an ultra-modern and easy-to-use deck.

Ergonomic and modular design

The new F-Bridge is the emblem of simple, safe and efficient navigation.

The bridge consists of a wheelhouse, with two consoles and a central armchair, and three 55″ Hatteland 4K monitors. The solution is completely customizable and can also include multiple pilot seats or multiple monitors.

The two ergonomic and modular consoles, placed on the sides of the comfortable pilot’s chair, contain all the controls and tools necessary to steer the ship. Operational and navigation data are displayed on the Hatteland 55″ self-standing displays placed on the floor in front of the wheelhouse; the large size of these displays allows you to easily create multiple pages to display multiple functions on the same display.

The 55″ self-standing Hatteland monitors are type approved for FURUNO FAR series radar and for ECDIS FURUNO FMD-3200BB. If the dashboard configuration allows it, a 45″ ultra-wide display can also be provided to be installed overhead to always have conning data or engine and monitoring data available.

The governance of all the functions of this modern integrated bridge will be guaranteed by two custom trackballs that, thanks to the Universal Control Concept, will be able to govern the radars (X &S), the ECDIS (two in case of paperless configuration), the TZ Professional by MaxSea, the AMCS system, the CCTV system and all the other systems that the customer wants to integrate into the F-Bridge.

This modern arrangement of the ship’s components has made it possible to create a unique, versatile and innovative system based on the “walk around” bridge principle, that is, on the possibility of moving freely all around the control deck, even around the wheelhouse and self-standing monitors.

Navigation & automation system

The new F-Bridge therefore includes all wheelmark approved latest generation Furuno navigation systems including Chart Radar X Band and S Band with Trackball Control Unit RCU-026, ECDIS FMD, dual GPS System, navigation sonar, doppler speed log, AIS, BNWAS, autopilot, gyro and various sensors.

TZ Professional by MaxSea has also been included in the new integrated bridge along with other important safety equipment.

It is also possible to integrate GMDSS radio equipment such as VHF into ergonomic consoles.

The display displays consist of 55″ Hatteland 4K monitors and can show all the features provided.

Hatteland HD55T22 monitors are Generation 2 series LCD displays with LED backlight, dimmer and multipower technology as standard. These are multi vision displays, so you can view up to 4 sources in full HD in a single screen. The state-of-the-art display technology with Optical Bonding and, as an option, the touch screen, allow good readability even in unfavorable conditions.

The new mega yacht deck system can also integrate all the automation information of Bӧning and all the main controls are available in the side panels.

FURUNO PLANNING STATION CHART TABLE

The world at your fingertips

Furuno is pleased to present the Planning Station Chart Table, the perfect solution for vessels in search of a useful route planning and collaboration tool, a larger chart viewing solution and the ability to simplify route creation while allowing for direct vessel monitoring.

The Furuno Planning Station Chart Table is a PC-based touch screen planning solution that allows the bridge team to quickly and effectively create and manage routes, and monitor voyages and vessel traffic while providing many other useful features and functions.

This incredibly responsive system is used in conjunction with a compatible touchscreen 4K resolution display (not included), such as the 55” Hatteland 4K Touchscreen LCD monitor.

Powerful PC

The Planning Station consists of a powerful but compact PC and software, along with the dongle license. Providing an unbelievably responsive multi-touch interface, scrolling and zooming with ENC’s is incredibly fast and easy. The system can be used with any Hatteland 4K touchscreen monitor.

Virtually no configuration is required, as the Furuno Planning Station will automatically obtain NAV data and ship parameters from the connected onboard equipment. The system works in parallel with the Furuno FMD 3200 ECDIS, providing route planning and sharing, while also sharing that system’s chart, such as NOAA ENC’s and Admiralty charts. It can operate passively so as not to interfere with safe navigation on the bridge.

 The perfect route planning station

The Furuno Planning Station Table has a lot of useful functions for better performance.

The system can display GRIB files for weather information and overlay, and Radar and AIS overlay are available for planning and monitoring purposes when that information is provided over the LAN.

An intuitive Search function allows the operator to quickly ‘zoom’ to ports or other named chart items anywhere coverage is available, and an onboard Document Viewer allows for the display of PDF’s and other files for quick and straightforward large-screen collaboration and editing.

HD55T22: Compatible displays

55″ Hatteland 4K Touchscreen LCD monitor is the perfect complement for Furuno Planning Station Chart Table because it includes color calibration software and AC-power articulating “Chart Table” hardware with raise/lower and tilt control.

The Series X MVD Display features 4K screen resolution and high-end panel technology, providing unmatched viewing clarity in all lighting conditions. Its ultramodern approach represents the pinnacle of maritime display technology, making it the most advanced platform for the development of a new generation of sophisticated, function rich and user-friendly bridge technologies that demand only the best display solutions to ensure increased navigational safety and efficiency on the bridge
