SECOND-USE BOAT SPACE – NEW IN 2017
This new space, reserved for exhibitor professionals will only present boats in-water which are a minimum of 7 metres long and less than 5 years old. A true guarantee of quality! One zone of the show, located on Quai des Capucins, will be fitted out in such a way as to optimise and concentrate the offering available with a specific welcome by the organisation that helps to management customer appointments for exhibitors. It should be noted that the second-use boats sector is doing very well and that it is a feature that has been requested and recommended by many professionals present in the zone. This space should bring together about twenty units presented in-water

The Water Sports Village, a unique opportunity to try something new!
This 4,000 m2 space welcomes professionals from the sector who will exhibit their new products and equipment. Sea trips, maiden trips and trials, demonstrations in the basin and in the port. All of this free of charge and under the supervision of professionals who will be happy to take to the water in order to share their passion with you!
NEW IN 2017 – POCKET SURF is a board sport simulator, a wave machine that allows users to learn how to surf, bodyboard and wakeskate. Visitors, whether children or adults, will be able to test surf in a “booth” under real conditions thanks to a water treadmill and, thus, become a surfer in less than 3 minutes. The hardest thing is staying upright on the board! Guaranteed thrills…
NEW IN 2017 – SKIM PARK. The new 60 m2 SKIMPARK basin (4x15m) is as fun as it is educational. Its aim: to teach children and adults the notions of skimming and balance and the thrills of skimboarding. This activity involves surfing a wave that was caught from the beach. At the show, the idea is to start from one side of the basin and to skim to the other side of the basin without falling over. An activity to be tested for the first time at Les Nauticales!
The fishing & diving village, even more proximity with enthusiasts!
Introduced in 2016 and a great success, the Fishing & Diving Village will be back in 2017. Visitors will be able to meet professionals (fishing boat builders, manufacturers of equipment for fishing, diving, hunting and underwater photography, specialist tour operators, reviews, federations, clubs and associations, etc.), test equipment, try their hand at a new activity and watch many demonstrations.
For Diving, a basin will be provided for introductory courses and first-time experiences. This year, for the first time, an underwater circuit will be installed. This will involve a photographic exhibition being immersed in the basin for a fun diving experience!
It should also be noted that the 5th Rock Fishing Competition will be organised jointly with the Cot&Pêche and Décathlon. This competition is unique in the world of boat shows! More than 70 participants will come together on Sunday 26 March to take part in the event. This nomadic fishing technique comes from Japan that uses small bait targets a multitude of fish species, especially those that live in ports. A highlight of the show! Remember that this competition is a No-Kill event, meaning that after being measured, the fish is systematically returned to the water.
THE CLASSIC & TRADITION VILLAGE: sharing and exchanges.
The Classic & Tradition Village, created in 2013, offers a very rich overview of local heritage boats from the Mediterranean coast. With the support of stakeholders, such as the Mediterranean Heritage Federation and active local associations based along the coast, it aims to raise awareness about this beautiful heritage which, although it may appear timeless because it is modest is, nevertheless, in great danger. “Barquettes”, “bettes”, “mour de poar” are not just exotic Provencal terms that refer to a boat, but, above all, bear witness to a recent and rich maritime history which sailors are proud to share in order to preserve this heritage and, above all, in order that these boats in all their forms can be sailed for our pleasure!
The heritage network and players will be at the show in order to share their passion, projects, networks and sea outings with us!
NEW IN 2017 – A “Carré des Artistes“. A space is provided for selected artists whose work is in relation to the protection of the heritage and traditions. Last year: a figurehead sculptor attracted many visitors. Following this concept, several artists will, in turn, be invited to present their work (painters, sculptors, etc.).
