EARTHRACE CONSERVATION

We have amazing news, and an awesome opportunity for you. We’ve just completed the purchase of a superb vessel, the Modoc, which is now our main conservation ship, and base of operations. And we’re looking for volunteers to help us refit and crew her. People often ask me how can they get involved? – well this is how… Come help us make this great boat, awesome.

Modoc is currently in Seattle where we have a team working on her. Soon we take her to Mexico where we’ll pull her from the water and complete the refit. We need lots of help to make this all happen, and this is where you come in.   More details

Once the refit is complete, we have an 18-month campaign heading down through Central America and then across the Pacific.  Work will include fisheries enforcement, protection of marine reserves, and training of government wildlife teams. Come help us!  more details

Our ship is equipped with an amazing array of assets, including a military RIB, Zodiac, Barge, Raymarine electronics, FLIR thermal imaging, and this super awesome Schiebel S-100 Camcopter UAV.  We’ll have various winch options for pulling in illegal fishing gear. more details

This is your chance to get involved in something awesome.  In the past we have relied on specialist military and filming people, so volunteering options were limited.  But because we’re refitting and running an entire ship now, there’s a much better chance we can get you on the team.  So don’t be shy.  Click on the links above, or send me an email

Kind regards
